ICE Poker Flex and Tournament Mode have officially launched!
We really appreciate every community member that participated in our 6 beta tests and provided us with valuable feedback. As a thank you, we’ll be returning all the Shine used in the beta tests back to your wearables.
To kick off the launch, Decentral Games is hosting a 1 month Tournament Mode competition with $xDG prizes. We’re also thrilled to announce 6 launch partnerships:

These partnerships welcome new players into the ICE Poker ecosystem while providing new utility to their community.
This article gives an overview of ICE Poker Flex, the Tournament Mode competition, and details of each partnership.
ICE Poker Flex
ICE Poker Flex is our new progressive web app (PWA) that allows you to play ICE Poker on any browser, including your mobile device. You can play now at: app.decentral.games.
We’re initially launching ICE Poker Flex with Tournament Mode and will be adding Challenge Mode in the future.
Tournament Mode
Tournament Mode is our new Sit and Go tournament game mode.
Test your skills in a fast-paced, 6-player, single-elimination tournament where you can compete to win badges that can be redeemed for large prizes such as ICE wearables, $ICE tokens, and Shine.
To play Tournament Mode, you’ll need an ICE Poker wearable with Shine. This can be a Tournament wearable, a Flex wearable, or an All Access wearable. Each wearable type gives you access to Tournament Mode on different platforms.
Tournament wearables are now available to buy for 1000 $ICE on the DG Marketplace. These come with 9 Shine and are a low-cost entry point to start playing.

Tournament Mode Competition
Following the passed governance proposal, we’re hosting a Tournament Mode competition with $xDG prizes until Tuesday, October 11.
Here are the various prizes up for grabs:
1. The first 50 players to claim a Pharaoh All Access wearable receives $200 in $xDG.
2. The top 20 players with the highest win percentages and over 100 tournaments played receive:
- 1st: $1,000 in $xDG
- 2nd: $950 in $xDG
- 3rd: $900 in $xDG
- 4th: $850 in $xDG
- 5th: $800 in $xDG
- 6th: $750 in $xDG
- 7th: $700 in $xDG
- 8th: $650 in $xDG
- 9th: $600 in $xDG
- 10th: $550 in $xDG
- 11-20th: $500 in $xDG
3. The top 3 players who’ve earned the most badges receive:
- 1st: $3,000 in $xDG
- 2nd: $2,000 in $xDG
- 3rd: $1,000 in $xDG
Partnership Details and Events
For each partnership, we designed custom ICE Poker Tournament wearables for their community.
Each custom Tournament wearable comes loaded with 9 Shine so community members can immediately start playing.
Wearables have already been airdropped to the KILLABEARS, Milk Road, and WonderZone communities. We’ll be airdropping wearables to the Quirkies, Mutant Cartel, and SX Bet communities next week on Monday, September 19.
In addition to giving access to Tournament Mode, community members can rep their community around Decentraland.
Over the next 2 weeks, we’ll be hosting events with each partner at Tominoya, our Decentraland venue. Come hang out, show off your new wearable, play ICE Poker Flex, and listen to live music with other community members.

KILLABEARS
KILLABEARS is a collection of 3,333 thoughtfully designed and randomly generated NFTs by Mexican artist Memo Angeles.
We’ve airdropped Tournament wearables to all KILLABEAR holders. We’ll be hosting an event with the community on Friday, September 16 at 9pm EST.
The Milk Road
The Milk Road is a free, 5 minute daily crypto newsletter with 150,000+ subscribers. They cover crypto news in an informative and entertaining way.
We’ve airdropped Tournament wearables to those who signed up through The Milk Road’s feature article on Decentral Games. We’ll be hosting an event with the community on Saturday, September 17 at 6pm EST.
WonderZone
WonderZone builds wearables and immersive games in Decentraland. Their flagship game is WonderMine: a mining and crafting game. Players can mine meteors to collect loot, craft equipment, and craft WonderMine wearables.
As part of our partnership, WonderZone created an ICE Pickaxe.
The ICE Pickaxe is a rare item with high-level crafting requirements. There are only 200 ICE Pickaxes in existence, and 100 of those pickaxes will be airdropped to ICE Crown owners.
We’ve airdropped Tournament wearables to the top 1,000 players in the WonderZone community. We’ll be hosting an event with the community on Sunday, September 18 at 4pm EST.
Mutant Cartel
Mutant Cartel is a meeting ground for Mutant Ape holders to unite, build, and belong. They’re a media production company that’s advancing the MAYC ecosystem through creative projects, storytelling, and community movements.
We’ll airdrop Tournament wearables to the Mutant Cartel community on Monday, September 19. We’ll be hosting an event with the community on Friday, September 23 at 6pm EST.
Quirkies
Quirkies is a collection of 5,000 unique characters. Each Quirkie was created by their team artist through several hundred traits of quirkiness.
We’ll airdrop Tournament wearables to all Quirkies holders on Monday, September 19. We’ll be hosting an event with the community on Saturday, September 24 at 7pm EST.
SX Bet
SX Bet is the largest blockchain-based sports betting platform in the world by both volume and users. Since inception, SX Bet has processed over 2,000,000 unique bets totaling more than $225M USD in betting volume.
We’ll airdrop Tournament wearables to the top 2,000 players in the SX Bet community on Monday, September 19. We’ll be hosting an event with the community on Sunday, September 25 at 4pm EST.
Future Partnerships
We’re excited to bring on our first 6 partners—and we’ve got more on the way.
The mechanics of Tournament Mode and Shine allow us to partner with other communities to release fun, custom Tournament wearables without the risk of immediately skewing our in-game economy.
