We’re thrilled to introduce the ICE Poker Arcade: a new brand identity for our poker web app.
Decentral Games’ mission is to onboard the next million players into the Metaverse. To achieve this, we need to be able to simply explain our product to anyone.
With the launch of our new Prize Marketplace, we saw a perfect opportunity to explain ICE Poker using the analogy of an arcade: play in our poker arcade to win big prizes. Simple and easy to understand in a single line.
What does this mean for you?
Our web app, tournament game mode, and wearables will be renamed to match the new ICE Poker Arcade branding—otherwise, it’s business as usual. You can still play the same ICE Poker you’re familiar with and the Decentral Games team will continue to relentlessly ship new features.
What’s Changing?
With the new ICE Poker Arcade brand, we renamed:
- ICE Poker Flex → ICE Poker Arcade
- Tournament Mode → Arcade Mode
- Tournament wearables → Arcade wearables
Arcade Mode will continue to be our Sit-n-Go tournament game mode where you can win badges and redeem them for big prizes like MacBooks, iPhones, DG Merch, skins, and more.
Arcade wearables will give you access to play on the ICE Poker Arcade app and in the Metaverse.
Along with these changes, we updated our home page to reflect the new brand and better communicate our product.
What’s Next for ICE Poker?
We’ve got an exciting year ahead of us.
We’ll continue to ship new features, add new prizes, improve the ICE Poker experience, and educate new players about web3 as we strive toward our mission of onboarding the next generation of players into the Metaverse.
The ICE Poker Arcade is only the first step. In the coming months, we’ll be expanding the ICE Arcade with more games that you can play and win prizes from such as blackjack, roulette, and more.
